When it comes to slots, if you were to ask a group of casino players what it takes to make a great game, you would likely get a wide variety of answers. Some players might say it’s all about the graphics, others might stress that audio is important, and certainly many would say it all comes down to the gameplay itself. The truth is though, those answers are all subjective because they are simply reflections of each player’s individual preferences.
Having said that, the real answer to what it takes to make a great game can be summed up in a single word, which is *balance*. A great game balances all of the factors mentioned above as well as many others to maximize its chances of appealing to a wide range of players. And when it comes to **Crazy Fruits Frenzy**, which was created by **Storm Gaming Technology** or **Storm Games** for short, it’s a perfect example of a slot that has balance.
**Game Introduction**
The title of this game and perhaps the game’s design itself both pay homage to how the booming slots industry was born, which saw many fruit-themed games take center stage in the growth of both the retail casino industry and later the online casino industry as well.
Featuring 5-reels with 3-rows per reel, **Crazy Fruits Frenzy** boasts a total of 10 different paylines, which is on par with many of today’s video slots. In order to have a winning spin, you simply need to land 3 or more of the same symbols on the same payline from left to right (beginning with the leftmost reel).
The symbols available in this game are the low-paying 10-A symbols (with payouts ranging from 0.5x to 10x your bet) and the high-paying symbols that are represented by classic slot symbols such as bells, stars, sevens, coins, and fruits. Payouts for the high-paying symbols range from 1.5x your bet up to 100x your bet.
**Fruit Cash Symbols**
In addition to the game’s regular paying symbols, **Crazy Fruits Frenzy** also features fruit cash symbols, with each fruit cash symbol being assigned a cash value. The cash values are collected in the free spins bonus round whenever a crazy fruits symbol lands on the reels, which we’ll tell you more about below. In addition to the cash values assigned, the fruit cash symbols also offer traditional payouts ranging from 1.2x to 20x your bet for landing between 3 and 5 symbols respectively.
**Free Spins Bonus Round**
The primary bonus round in **Crazy Fruits Frenzy** is the free spins bonus round, which is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols (represented by a miniature slot machine). Once triggered, you’ll be awarded 10, 12, or 15 free spins for landing 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols respectively.
If you’re awarded 10 free spins for landing 3 scatter symbols, you’ll have the option of purchasing additional fruit cash symbols at a cost of 20x your bet. In doing so, you’re guaranteed to land fruit cash symbols on each and every free spin during the bonus round. On the other hand, if you’re awarded 12 or 15 free spins for landing 4 or 5 scatter symbols, you are guaranteed to land fruit cash symbols on every free spin during the bonus round at no additional cost.
Once your bonus round begins, you’ll notice that there’s a special row added above the reel grid, which is referred to as the free spins trail. Each time a crazy fruits symbol lands during the bonus round, you’ll progress one space along the free spins trail. And for every 4 spaces you progress, you’ll be awarded extra free spins with a random multiplier. With a total of 12 spaces on the free spins trail, it’s possible to repeat this process up to 3 times.
And as we mentioned previously, the crazy fruits symbols will also collect the cash value assigned to all fruit cash symbols that land together during the bonus round.
**Crazy Fruits Party Feature**
In addition to the free spins bonus round, **Crazy Fruits Frenzy** offers a secondary bonus round called the Crazy Fruits Party Feature, which is triggered by landing 3 or more wild symbols on the reels. Once triggered, you’ll be awarded up to 5 spins, during which extra multipliers or extra spins can be awarded. This bonus round concludes when there are zero spins remaining, at which time you’ll be awarded the sum of your bet multiplied by the total value of all the multipliers landed during the bonus round.
**Bonus Buy Options**
Given that bonus buys are all the rage as of late, it’s no surprise that **Storm Games** has included a bonus buy option on their **Crazy Fruits Frenzy** slot. For a cost of 100x your bet, you can buy directly into the Tooty Fruity Free Spins where you’ll have a chance to win 10, 12, or 15 free spins by landing either 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols respectively.
If you’re looking for a more affordable option to increase your odds, for a cost of just 1.5x your bet per spin, you can turn on the game’s extra chances feature that will double your chances of triggering one of the game’s main features.
